There’s nothing like spending the holidays with your friends and family, the people you love. This year, my family spent it with my friends family, who I consider family as well, at a nice secluded cabin away from the noise and distractions of the city. We baked crab legs on Christmas eve, and used a woodfire oven to grill prime rib on Christmas day. It was a great change-up from our Christmas standby of seeing a movie and getting Chinese food (a fairly common Christmas day tradition for Jews), and I could not have asked for a better weekend, or better people to spend it with.
